PRE-FAST



It is recommended that you prepare for your cleanse for a week prior to the first day. Do this by gradually diminishing caffeine, sugar, processed foods and animal proteins from your diet as much as possible. This will create a more alkaline ph in your body, which will allow a deeper and certainly a more comfortable cleanse once you begin your fast. Headaches and discomfort during detox, fasting and cleansing programs are largely due to the re-absorbtion of toxins and addictions to toxic substances. It is possible to enjoy a cleansing fasting experience with little or none of these “detox events” if you spend an appropriate amount of time gradually eliminating the acidic foods that require tremendous energy for your body to digest, you will have arrived already half way there, and your cleanse will be all the more efficient.

So consider consuming fresh raw fruits and vegetables, some cooked vegetables, grains and legumes in place of dairy, meats, and sugar laden breads and pastries for a few days to a week prior to your fast.

Let your coffee habit be eliminated gradually, cutting your consumption in half every few days until it is completely eliminated (you may need to put up with a headache for a day) at least 3 days before beginning.

If all this is too challenging or not realistic in your life without the support of being here, do not worry, we will still guide and support you and make you as comfortable as possible right here, and we assure you will have an effective fasting and cleansing effect just the same.
