Some of the favorites on our tea tray here at the retreat include Yogi Brand Detox and Peach Detox ( very popular here – it disappears) / and my new personal favorite: Skin Detox which I am experimenting with in topical recipes.
You will get the added benefit of quickie yoga remedy on each box.

Other teas that will benefit your cleanse:
Milk Thistle – a folk remedy to support liver functioning
Dandelion Root – ( I think this tastes like butterscotch-but that’s just me)

Here’s a recipe for simple Ginger Tea that we often have fresh on our stove top for our guests,

Take a few inches of fresh ginger root. Wash well, but no need to peel it.
Slice into thin discs about as thick and round as quarters
Put in a saucepan and cover with about 6 cups of filtered water.
Bring to a boil, then lower heat and simmer for 3 minutes.
Add a lavender flower bud to your cup, and breath in the aroma.

Ginger tea is fantastic to aleviate many “detox events” or if you ever have an upset stomach.
It is so warming to the whole body. Extreemly comforting when cleansing. I wouldn’t be without it.
Even without the lavender bud, it’s divine.

TIP!: Add a wedge of fresh lemon for some fresh variety and good cleansing alkalizing effect!

Please make comments here and share what your favorite detox/cleansing teas are!
